I've always enjoyed the view from the top of the Wedge. As a series of adventures in February, I decided to explore it along the river that worked so hard to make this area.
I parked at what we used to call (maybe is still called) Swinging Bridge. Aptly named from the slight swinging motion it exhibited when you could still drive across it.
Most of the "trail" along the river is not amazing - lots of cows and horses have obviously been there. That said, after the first few miles, evidence of that thins out and the views abound.
I heard before I saw a climber making his way up the sandstone cliffs. I shoot with a prime lens (no zooming), so the first image is a cropped image from the larger shot below.
