After a fun morning warming up at G1 (climbing gym), we made the scenic drive to a never-before visited trailhead for a new way into a great area.
The hike in was warm (high 40s) and the trail was typically muddy to slushy.
We had the whole lake to ourselves and camped by a cabin...
...with a view.
It probably dipped into the high 20s overnight and all the slush from the day before was frozen solid for the hike down (thank heavens for microspikes).
